FROM WSW: FROM CONYERS take HWY 138 E to Monroe. Bypass Monroe
on Highway 78 E and continue on Hwy 78 until you merge with HWY 316 E.
When you pass the traffic light at the intersection of HWY 316 and
JENNINGS MILL ROAD, move into the right lane. You will see a sign that
says: HARTWELL, UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA, ATHENS BYPASS. Exit to your right
onto the bypass. After you pass Milledge Avenue watch for the sign that
reads COLLEGE STATION ROAD. Exit to your right on the College Station Road
exit and when you get to the bottom of the ramp, turn RIGHT. When you
cross the bridge over the river, the road will separate into three lanes.
Get into the LEFT TURN LANE and turn left onto RESEARCH DRIVE. The Lodge
will be on the LEFT.
FROM NW: Come in on HWY129/GA15S from JEFFERSON. Cross over the
bypass and move into the left lane. At the first traffic light TURN LEFT
onto the ramp to LOOP 10 BYPASS. When you pass the North Avenue Exit move
into the right lane and watch for the sign overhead that says
WATKINSVILLE/LEXINGTON. Move into that lane and follow the ramp and you
will continue on Loop 10 toward the University of Georgia. Exit to your
right onto the COLLEGE STATION ROAD EXIT. At the bottom of the ramp turn
LEFT onto College Station Road. When you cross the bridge over the river,
the road will separate into three lanes. Move into the LEFT TURN LANE and
turn left onto RESEARCH DRIVE. The Lodge will be on the LEFT.
FROM N, NE: Come in on HWY441S from COMMERCE and drive under the
Bypass. Immediately turn left and go up onto the ramp to LOOP 10/PERIMETER
HWY. When you pass the North Avenue Exit move into the right and watch for
the sign overhead that says WATKINSVILLE/LEXINGTON. Move into that lane
and follow the ramp. You will continue on Loop 10 toward the University of
Georgia. Exit to your right onto the COLLEGE STATION ROAD EXIT. At the
bottom of the ramp turn LEFT onto College Station Road. When you cross the
bridge over the river, the road will separate into three lanes. Move into
the LEFT TURN LANE and turn left onto RESEARCH DRIVE. The Lodge will be on
the LEFT.
FROM E: As you enter Athens from LEXINGTON on Hwy. 78, turn left at
the second red light (Krystal is on the corner), and come down Gaines
School Road to the third red light (a bank is on the corner). TURN RIGHT
ONTO BARNETT SHOALS ROAD, then turn LEFT onto RESEARCH DRIVE. The Lodge
will be on the RIGHT.
FROM S: Coming up Hwy. 441 from WATKINSVILLE, turn RIGHT at the
intersection of Hwy. 441 and MILLEDGE AVE. (There is a traffic light at
the intersection). Go under the bridge at the bypass and turn LEFT onto
the ramp. Stay on the Bypass until you see the COLLEGE STATION ROAD EXIT.
Exit onto College Station Road to your right. At the bottom of the ramp
turn right. Just after you cross the bridge over the river the road will
separate into three lanes. Move into the LEFT TURN LANE and turn left onto
RESEARCH DRIVE. The Lodge will be on the LEFT.
FROM ATLANTA ON I-85: Take I-85 to 316 East through Winder,
Statham, Bogart. Watch for signs. You will pass signs that say MARS HILL
ROAD AND JIMMY DANIEL ROAD After you pass the sign overhead that says MARS
HILL CONN. (Large intersection there with light) move into the right lane.
(The Home Depot Sign will be visible over the hill.) You will see a sign
that says: HARTWELL, UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA, ATHENS BYPASS. Exit to your
right onto the bypass.. After you pass Milledge Avenue watch for the sign
that reads COLLEGE STATION ROAD. Exit to your right on the College Station
Road exit and when you get to the bottom of the ramp, turn RIGHT. When you
cross the bridge over the river, the road will separate into three lanes.
Get into the LEFT TURN LANE and turn left onto RESEARCH DRIVE. The Lodge
will be on the LEFT.
